A Kawenata between the Waikato-Tainui College for Research and Development and Te Whare Waananga o Awanuiaarangi. One of the major developments to evolve out of this is the delivery of an International Indigenous Doctoral Programme from the College site.

This is a significant milestone not just for the College but for the vision of past leadership particularly Dr Koro Wetere. It also is another step towards building the future of cadre of leaders as determined by Sir Robert Mahuta.
