 We are seeking an experienced Researcher to join our team.

This role will involve the design and application of innovative research projects and the use of a variety of methods to collect, analyse, report and disseminate information. Demonstrable experience undertaking mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) research and Kaupapa Maaori would be an advantage. This role will also include the development of external funding applications.

The successful applicant will have at least five years research experience, a minimum of a post-graduate qualification with significant research experience or a Master’s degree. Experience working with a diverse range of communities including Maaori is desirable.

The applicant must be self-motivated, organised and reliable. Fluency in te reo Maaori and tikanga Maaori would be an advantage.

This position is a Fixed-Term appointment until 31 March 2020
