Tāhuhu Mātauranga Māori
In 2012, the Waikato-Tainui College for Research and Development will be delivering Tāhuhu Mātauranga Māori - A Masters in Mātauranga Māori programme run through Te Wānanga o Raukawa
Tāhuhu Mātauranga Māori will be delivered in a Noho Wānanga Environment at the College, covering key kaupapa over two years.

Year one noho Year one will be held over nine noho and will cover kaupapa such as Mātauranga, Te Ao Mārama, Kura Wānanga, Te Rākau, Pūrākau, Ngā Kete o te Wānanga, Mana and Rangahau. |

Year two noho Year two will be held over three noho and three kura āwhina and will focus on students completing their thesis in Te Reo Māori, that is hapū and iwi relevant. |

Te Urunga: Entry requirements To enter into the programme, students must be competent in conversing and writing in Te Reo Māori and will be required to write a covering letter which will be reviewed by the senior lecturer. Acceptance on to the programme will be notified by the senior lecturer following their review. Details of this covering letter are listed accordingly. |

Senior lecturers Tāhuhu Mātauranga Māori will host three senior lecturers skilled in delivery and research support, namely Pakake Winiata, Hohaia Collier and Te Awanuiaarangi Black. |
